Invert Project Example
Inversion Project
The tools used to create the image to the right..
-The Gradient tool
-Invert
-The Polygonal Lasso Tool
-Eye Dropper Tool
-Working more with organizing layers.
-Brushes

The image on our blog today uses all of the tools that I mentioned above. I used one photo to create this image.
Project examples from CG Students

On a negative (inverted image) the lightest areas of the photographed subject appear darkest and the darkest areas appear lightest.

objects on a negative will be
displayed opposite (black and white)
Or their complimentary color on
colored film.
In the case of color negatives, the colors are also reversed into their complimentary colors.

Negatives are normally used to make positive prints on photographic paper by projecting the negative onto the paper with an enlarger.
A positive image is a normal image. A negative image is a total inversion, in which light areas appear dark and vice versa. A negative color image is additionally color-reversed, with red areas appearing cyan, greens appearing magenta and blues appearing yellow.

Create AT LEAST three interesting inversions for your blog! ADD TEXT TO ONE!

Learning Targets
-Experiment with new tools (listed above) in Photoshop to enhance the emphasis of your photo. I merged a photo I took of the mountains and deleted the background and added a photo I took of some plants. I used the FX tool on the bottom tool bar by the garbage can under the layers to adjust the text!

Extra Project demo.. From a Cg Student
Demon today using the WARP TOOL
